Administrative Law Overview

Bugden & Isaacson is a renowned Utah law firm that provides exceptional trial representation for individuals in a range of criminal administrative matters throughout the state of Utah.  Our administrative law practice is focused primarily in the area professional licensing or Division of Child and Family Services litigation.

Administrative Law and Representation Before Administrative Agencies

Our administrative law practice includes representing professionals before licensing boards and parents before the Division of Child and Family Services.

  • Professional Licensing

We have successfully represented professionals, such as physicians, lawyers, teachers, realtors, and massage therapists, who are facing potential action against their professional licenses.  For example, Tara L. Isaacson successfully defended a massage therapist before the Board of Massage Therapy.  The therapist had been wrongfully accused of misconduct with a client.  After a trial, the Board rejected the client’s claims and took no action against the therapist’s license.

  • Division of Child and Family Services Litigation

We have successfully opposed the State of Utah in a number of cases involving allegations of child abuse.  We have had multiple clients who have gone to trial in juvenile court challenging DCFS findings of abuse.  We have persuaded judges in a number of cases that DCFS did not have a basis to support a finding of abuse and the findings of abuse were set aside.
